Adoption Rate

The Adoption Rate of cats and dogs was drafted in August 2003.   This formula will be used to determine the percentage of healthy and treatable dogs and cats that are successfully adopted; any unhealthy/untreatable animals that may have been adopted are also included in the calculation.   Agencies may report their Adoption Rate in addition to their Live Release Rate by using the method of calculation found in this form.
